Red poppies and blue foliage give this Araminta bin its lively surface. Hand blockprinted recycled-cotton paper and a scalloped rim turn a dry wastepaper or storage container into a considered detail for a bedroom or writing corner.

“A wastepaper basket need not disappear into a corner. I would place this where its poppies can be seen, while keeping it clear of damp shoes and watering cans.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Inner Child began in New York in 2024 with Michelle Pham's belief that practical objects deserve color and imagination. Her parents, Vietnamese refugees who made things out of necessity, passed on the resourcefulness and design flair behind that outlook. The studio works in small batches with multigenerational artisan families and its own workshop teams, keeping the human variation of handwork visible. Its blockprint collection includes cloth printed by an eighth-generation family in Jaipur, using blocks carved by specialist makers. From those repeated impressions to the flowing patterns of hand marbling, the attraction is the craft within an object made to take part in everyday life.
